Enjoy watching go-cart racers battle it out. The event was created in 2006 to give go-kart racers and their families an opportunity to compete during the normal “off season” while providing them an exciting indoor race that few at the time had ever experienced. In fact at the time of its inception, it was known as one of the few indoor karting events held anywhere in the nation, and soon became popular throughout the US. The first event held had 80 entries, which was considered large at the time, considering most season holding tracks net around 30 to 40 per night. It continued to grow each year with last year’s entry numbers at 210. The event paved the way for Texas indoor racing and in 2013 became part of the Midwest Winter Race Series, which consists of five indoor races. This series includes three stops in Texas and two in Oklahoma, with drivers coming from all over the US. Points are accumulated throughout the series with a cash payout and Championship awarded at the end, but each event awards trophies to the top three finishers in each class.
